Welcome

Usually the only time when parents get to meet their children's teachers is on Parent/Teacher nights. Well, while we obviously can't talk to you about your individual son or daughter, we have compiled different ways you can help your teenager in studying for his or her university entrance examination.

Firstly, we are aware that many parents are not familiar with the ways English has changed since their own studies and particularly with the introduction of the new HSC in NSW. Here you can find out how English has changed to prepare your son or daughter for the new century.

On this site your teenager will find numerous helpful notes and activities designed to assist him or her in studying for the new HSC. Selected English teachers have been commissioned to write materials directed at the HSC syllabus for use by their colleagues. In a new endeavour, we have made aspects of these units available with special additions for students.

To help your student study for English, check the texts and modules your son or daughter is studying and then view the materials available for purchase. These materials will provide further examples of good teaching practice for your child to follow to complement the experience and support s/he is gaining at school.
