The conference will provide a rare opportunity for delegates to attend sessions in two of NSW's historically and educationally significant schools: Sydney Grammar, an independent school for boys where the main conference (3rd and 4th October) will take place and the Conservatorium High, a government school of excellence in music. which will host a series of pre-conference institutes (2nd October).

Sydney Grammar School is one of the oldest schools in Australia. Founded by Act of Parliament in 1854, it is socially comprehensive and secular. Since its foundation, the School and its Old Boys have played an important part in the history of this country. Situated in historically rich Darlinghurst at the edge of the city centre, the school is opposite Hyde Park, close to some of Sydney’s finest attractions, a vibrant restaurant scene and many hotels.

The Conservatorium High School is the secondary arm of the Conservatorium of Music. Located in the Royal Botanic Gardens, it is one of Sydney's best-known heritage sites. Its turreted sandstone structure was designed by the convict architect, Francis Greenway, to serve as vice-regal stables for Government House located across the gardens. Amongst the school's alumni are some of Australia's most acclaimed musicians who have made their mark in all facets of their profession.
