Join leading Australian poet Toby Fitch and The Red Room Company for an engaging reading that explores the conference theme of Five Bells. Toby will share poems from his recent publications and explore the links between Kenneth Slessor, French poets such as Baudelaire and the city of Sydney.

Enjoy a glass of wine on the Terrace which gives stunning panoramic views of Cook & Philip Park, St Mary's Cathedral and a bird's-eye view of the length of William Street, Hyde Park and the Woolloomooloo district.

You are welcome to enjoy the Jurassic Lounge, featuring art, live music, drinks and new ideas. Discover Sydney’s hottest new artists, performers and DJs. Wander and check out amazing live acts and exhibitions against a spectacular backdrop of dinosaur skeletons, precious gemstones and native animals.

From here, move into one of Darlinghurst's iconic restaurants. Lists and recommendations will be available in the Terrace.

'Five Bells' Harbour Cruise

Watch the sun set over Sydney Harbour at this special event created for you. Visit key points of literary interest on Sydney Harbour with our guide, Dr Peter Kirkpatrick.  Dr Kirkpatrick  lectures at Sydney University, is an expert on the cultural history of Sydney and has run walking tours of Sydney's areas of literary interest. Enjoy a light supper and drinks on board.
